I've been getting my haircut at this location for about 10 years. Today was different , after I checked in the monitor and I was on deck and I sat for about 30 min. I figured out the stylist had taken one of her friends back ahead of me.after I pointed this out to her , she denied it and got me in and out of her chair in 5 min. Never asked if I wanted anything, massage or shampoo or nothing. So 20.00 cut I was out the door to passed off to even think to get her name . I hope sports clips enjoys that 20.00 its the last one they will get from me. This was 9/18/2019 around 4pm afternoon. Thank for not treating me right. I'm an old dinosaur so I don't like having to "register" to do anything that is supposed to be as "friendly" as having a stranger use sharp objects on your head. My personal info should NEVER enter that elementary "relationship" and to REQUIRE it is not just rude, but invasive and a violation of my alleged rights to privacy. The poor young Lady you was unfortunate enough to have encountered me should never have had to have even had to do anything beyond greet, seat, cut, and collect my payment/tip. Like I said in my opening, I'm older, so she didn't understand what sort of antique haircut I wanted, but she did go get help which earned her the tip. Barbara recognized it and all went well once the right person on duty was found. She did a great job on my old dinosaur hair and did so with the hands of a surgeon and with a nice smile to boot! So for you locations who stay too focused on just hiring the 20-somethings because they are more flexible and softer on the payroll, you may be short-changing yourself with the "older crowds" who are not looking for whats in-vogue today, but just want to maintain their blast from the past instead. I did repeatedly apologize to the poor girl since it is the MACHINERY of the system that forces her to invade customers privacy and why I sent THAT part to the main office website. The simple solution is to simply make it OPTIONAL, but that may break the corporate machine, time will tell...
